Our first US translation!

Our first season of Climate Science Translated did very well in the UK, with 10 million+ views, top comedians from Nish Kumar to Jo Brand, and coverage from the Guardian to ITV.

Now we’re testing it in the US, where the climate conversation badly needs unfucking.

The pilot drops Monday June 2, featuring cult comedian David Cross (Arrested Development) translating pioneering climate scientist Michael Oppenheimer (Princeton).

Climate action is actually popular in the US - 74% want more of it from government, even some Republicans. Because, obviously: no one wants sky-high insurance bills, a home destroyed by extreme weather, or to pass on a ruined planet to their kids.

The film aims to tap that silent majority and get them pushing their reps to act. Trump’s a lost cause, but others aren’t.

We need bold new tactics. Let’s see if this one helps bring the debate back to earth - and maybe reaches some surprising people. Watch this space.
