What can you do to show up and make an actual difference? Petitions are all well and good, but these actions will help you step up and be heard.

Vote smart

This year, the UK and the US get to exert direct pressure through elections. There are several smart ways of doing this.

Break the bank

If your bank, pension or insurer is enabling fossil fuel expansion then it's time to say goodbye.

Spread the science

Share the videos with friends, family, and any distant relatives who worry about the climate but aren’t yet acting on it.

Rally your neighbour

Since Covid, we are all on neighbourhood whatsapp groups. Pollution, filthy rivers, what can you get up in arms about?

Join a protest

If protests didn’t have any effect, governments wouldn’t be trying to suppress them. Join a local climate group and go together.

We will constantly update and flesh out this list, with things that everyone can do, and that are effective in building political and social collective pressure. So far they are mostly UK-focused. Live elsewhere? Try this.
